The volunteer teachers will be required to fill out all the necessary information given on the official “Teach and Learn with Georgia” website and present their police background check together with medical and other required documents. 

 The main role of the volunteer teachers is to teach their native languages to the Georgian students by giving them interactive classes and communicating with them on a daily basis. Their desired qualification is having an undergraduate education. There are no age/gender/religion restrictions. After arriving in the country, they will be given 2-month long Georgian language classes and they will spend the rest of the 10 months teaching their native languages. If willing, they will be able to extend their 1-year period up to 2 years.
