Benefits Offered by the Government of Georgia

The Government of Georgia, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, is ready to sign Memoranda of Cooperation with the government and/or other respective bodies of all interested countries. This bilateral agreement will depict the detailed roles and responsibilities of the two parties, including the protection and safety of foreign citizens.

As the project “Teach and Learn with Georgia” is of the high importance and priority, the Government of Georgia will co-share and co-fund the project and offer the following benefits to volunteer teachers:

• Housing/living accommodations (Volunteer teachers will live with families free of charge);
• Medical insurance;
• Travel expenditures (round trip tickets, work related travels);
• Per diem 500 Georgian Lari per month (approximately $300);
• Safe environment.
