The LEPL National Center for Teacher Professional Development under the Ministry of Education and Science is announcing an opening for the position of Regional Representative’s Assistants in  Samegrelo Region under the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” (TLG).

General Description

The TLG Representative in Samegrelo works in Samegrelo region, Zugdidi  to fully provide TLG Academic, Non-academic and Medical team’s operation by supporting the TLGV’s basic needs, help them in solving their issues and helping to make them feel supported by TLG. The TLG Regional Representative’s Assistant must be able to effectively execute tasks, given by the RR. The RR’s Assistant should have good verbal and written communication skills, in English and Georgian as the job involves constant communication with the volunteers, as well as the school administration, local co-teachers, host families and doctors. It is important that the Assistant has good experience in writing correspondence, strong analytical skills and information evaluation ability.  The RR’s Assistant must be able to work in fast paced environment.

Tasks for TLG Regional Representative’s Assistant

-         Collecting, entering and maintaining the information related to TLGVs on the database.

-          Assists the RR in planning and conducting Meetings.

-          The RR’s Assistant helps the RR to share the workload in the Academic sphere.

-          Assisting with the preparation process for inspecting host families and schools.

-          Assisting TLGV at the pharmacy and scheduled appointments with a doctor or dentist in order to provide translation and support.

The Regional Representative’s Assistant should have the following skills and qualifications:

-          Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

-          Ability to build good interpersonal relationships

-          High organizational and time management skills

-          Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines (productive under stress)

-          Ability to work on a project individually or in a team environment

-          Ability to work in fast paced environment with flexibility

-          Ability to handle and resolve problems

-          High computer literacy

-          Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate the information

-          An insistence on honesty, transparency and integrity
