Applicants can send the documents one by one or collect them and send them all together before the deadline set individually according to the phase of arrival.

TLG provides its applicants with a medical form to be filled out by their examining doctors/physicians. Applicants can also take medical examination in Georgia when they arrive. In this case interested volunteers should submit a special medical self-assessment prior to their arrival.

Criminal Background Checks need to be nationwide and must be no older than one or two months by the time of application. If you have lived for a lengthy period of time in multiple countries, then multiple background checks may be necessary. Each country has its own process for obtaining Criminal Record Checks. Consult your own government for specific advice.

There is not a specific recommendation letter form provided for TLG applicants. The authors of LOR should describe applicant’s general abilities and explain why the applicant would make a good volunteer for TLG program.

An LOR must be written by a person who has been in a professional/academic contact with the applicant. He/she can be applicant’s professor, supervisor, employer, etc. The LOR can be sent directly by reference/recommender to our e-mail (info@tlg.gov.ge ) or applicants can collect them, scan and send all together via e-mail.
