The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has awarded the best students, teachers, and administrators, in the Georgian Education System.
  • The best school student:  Tamaz Baghdavadze, eleventh grader of village of Makharadze public school in Gurjaani municipality;
  • The best teacher: Lia Kobesashvili, Math teacher in Tbilisi public school#76;
  • The best teacher: Teona Jugheli, a participant of Georgian Language for Future Success program, who teaches Georgian language in Foka school, Ninotsminda municipality.
  • The best volunteer teacher, Jason David Brendon, TLG volunteer who teaches in first public school in the village of Mukhrani, Mtskheta Municipality;
  • The best school principal: David Lagvilava, Tbilisi public school#51;
  • The best resource officers: Gela Begdarashvili, (Tbilisi public school#76); Babilina Barkaia- (Zugdidi public school#8); Paata Nanava ( Kutaisi public school#23);
  • The best public school- Rustavi public school#4;
  • The best private school, - "Albioni”
  • The best director of educational resource center (ERC)- Nino Shengelia, Samtredia ERC;

Dimitri Shashkini awarded the winners with special prizes.

The Ministry will continue to encourage successful teachers, students, and principals in order to further motivate them.
