The Ministry of Education and Science of
Georgia and the Teachers Professional Development Center (TPDC) is announcing an
opening for the position of Legal and Human Resources Coordinator for the
Program Teach and Learn with Georgia (TLG).
Job Description:
- Ensure
the continued compliance of TLG’s procedures with Georgian Legislation;
- Consult
and Legally Support TLG;
- Monitor
legislative changes that affect TLG;
- Manage
legal complaints or disputes between all contractors and dependants of TLG (residents
and non-residents), and provide legal counsel for all employees and volunteers
as needed;
- Take
part in the creation of official documents that determine the status of TLG and
regulate its operations. Create and implement different administrative/legislative
regulatory documents and take initiative with the Management of the Program to
make any necessary legal changes;
- Serve
as a representative of TLG during legislative disputes between the Program and any
third party;
- Monitor
and legally consider all issues regarding all the Program’s employees and
volunteers.
Additional responsibilities include
participating in:
- Negotiations
with international partner organizations;
- Monitoring
the subordinated employees and volunteers;
- Preparing
Legislative accounts and reports.
The Legal and Human Resources Coordinator
of TLG reports to the Program Management.
Necessary qualifications:
- Higher
Education in Jurisdiction.
- Minimum
of two years’ experience (Private or Public Legislation)
- Perfect
knowledge of English– high speaking and
writing skills (TLG officially operates and maintains documents in English as
well as Georgian)
- High
level of computer literacy

- Ability
to work in a high-stress environment;
Compensation is flexible based on the
experience of the candidate (1250-1875 GEL before taxes)
